Echo Chamber
This is Marlins Park in Miami. It's 10 minutes before game time and the place is empty. This despite the fact that the ballpark is a mere 2 years old, the Marlins are a competitive .500 team and the opponent was the defending National League champion St. Louis Cardinals who were starting one of the top pitchers in MLB. There couldn't have been more than 8,000 fans at this game.

What's Old Is New
Some years ago, NYC redeveloped Times Square. The place of my youth populated by Peep Shows, Prostitutes and Drug Dealers was replace by NYC's version of Disney - certainly great for tourists but worthless for the locals. It seems that old Times Square is making a comeback as NY law allows women to be topless anywhere that men are so allowed.

Well Maybe
Every little lake, stream, pond and canal and even swimming pool in Florida has one of these CYA signs (considering that half the TV commercials here are for personal injury lawyers). This one happens to be a block from my house. I figured it was too small to have gators. I thought the sign was funny though. I didn't see whatever is in the circle while I was shooting it. I'm no expert but that looks like it could be the tail of a Juvenile Alligator. Perhaps I was wrong.

Changing Of The Guard
When I relocated a few months ago, I brought some pantry and kitchen supplies. The can on the left was from my NY supermarket and the one on the right is from a FL supermarket. The yellow can is now empty and I am using local cooking spray. Just for the record, Shop Rite is a way better market than Publix.

Flasher
This Heron was just standing on the shoreline with its wings spread like it was flashing all the boaters.

Angry Bird
This is one of 14 surviving eagles that adorned Penn Station in NYC prior to its demolition in 1964. It now lives in the parking lot of the Hicksville LIRR station.
